GTA 5 Can I Run it?

exshadowz

I have a intel core i5 2500k @3.3GHz with Nvidea Geforce GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozer II @ 1GB video RAM with 8GB System RAM. Based on speculation do you guys think my rig can handle the game fine at 1080p on medium of high. My rig handles Max Payne 3 on very high perfectly fine? Sorry if there has been topics posted earlier about the same thing.

If they optimize it decently then you might be able to.

Well, the people making the PC port are the guys behind the Max Payne 3 port, and it was pretty well optimised IIRC. They've already said they've got 60 FPS (http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/268090-pc-port-of-gta-5-is-being-handled-by-max-payne-3-team-%E2%80%93-rumour%EF%83%97/) but we don't know what hardware.

If it's decently optimized you'll be able to run it just fine.

Thank you guys for the input. I just hope GTA V does not turn out like GTA IV. But hopefully the rumor about the Max Payne 3 team working on GTA V is true because then I wouldn't be too worried.

maybe medium around 45 fps, but probably you'd be good for 60fps on low, if they do optimize it for all low and high end. Considering it is the Max Payne 3 team though, we should be in good shape.

Kinda hard to tell since very little info has been released for the pc version.

"Graphics and gameplay are not mutually exclusive."

"Nvidia, AMD, Intel, or whatever company out there has only one end goal and that is PROFIT.

If you think these companies exist for any other reason you're gonna be disappointed my dear. CAVEAT EMPTOR"

Why? Just has to turn texture resolution down. This game is last gen and I think if it isn't totally trash port then it will run reasonably well on that PC.

I have exact same config, I am planning to upgrade to GTX 970 before getting the game though

560 Ti seems to be weakest part IMO, especially with only 1 GB VRAM

Finally got PS4 Pro

just like the guy above said, if the mp3 (awkward abbrevation for maxpayne3) dudes do the port then yes you will be able to play at medium no problem.

If one does not fail at times, then one has not challenged himself.
