Hello Linus Forum!

I'm currently being a small idiot at reading a manual and I've managed to confuse myself.

Which one goes where? If you could help me out that would be great. Visual aid if anything : ) Line to where and which pins.

@Sidders91

No chance of frying anything :P Only electricity is coming from the LED headers. Worse thing that could happen is you hook an LED into your power switch (wont do anything)

Just plug em in how you think they go and trial and error it

317 is watching. 317 is everywhere. 317 is life.

I'm well aware of that, but did you read it fully that I just said I managed to confuse myself? :| Don't wanna fry anything.

Its impossible to fry anything with the I/O headers. They take voltage from the motherboard so at the very worst it just wont work correctly untill you rewire it again.

Its very simple just match what it says on the motherboard to what the pins say :P

Quack 🦆

Just plug it in where you think it should be plugged in. Don't worry about positives and negatives, apparently it dosent matter

It does for the led's but not the power and reset switches.

Power led and power

Hdd led and reset

Do that for the headers, if the led's don't work swap them around.

So it's not the best idea to mix around the LEDs? I'd better keep that in mind

No harm, they just wont power on if they are reversed.

Don't worry, these things are never labelled very well. Mostly due to the wires being part of the case, and the connectors part of the motherboard.

The coloured wire is +. The white (or black) wires are ground/ -

use that info and the labels on the board
