I am planning to build a new PC for gaming only, i am not planning to overclock or using it as a eddit PC. My preference goes out to build 2

Core™ i7-4790, 3,6 GHz (4,0 GHz Turbo Boost) 1150 processor,

CPU kooler, Mugen 4 SCMG-4000

GA-H97-HD3, socket 1150

8 GB DDR3-1600 Kit,

R9 290 GAMING 4G,

B700, 700 Watt

Then ditch the Noctua sink, the stock intel cooler does a good job of keeping stock clocked processors cool.

I second the second one :D, also keep the cooler as yes the intel cooler is alright but i find it to be complete poop for cooling my i5 4460

I recently did I built for my mate in the 350D, with a 4460 on a stock cooler, and it was doing a really good job, I was surprised.

It sat at 60c on max and the 4460 and the 4690 have essentially the same heat output.

mine idles at around 50ish degrees
