Dashlane Password Changer Can Change Hacked Passwords with One Click

dayo26

Not that I will be using this any-time soon, but that comfort tho. But this looks like it has higher security risk   with all your password in one location and probably a single password for all profiles and accounts online

Yep im not a fan of password "keychains"... even if you make all your password 1024bit then who really cares if all it takes is for somebody to hack your account to get into them all? Not safe at all.

for these types of services (password managers), as long as you have a strong master password + multifactor authentication, it is usually safer than trying to remember multiple passwords.

"password safe" is a much better alternative

but i always recommend pen and paper

I'm all for password managers, but this seems quite...different. As I read it, the manager has psychical access to the accounts, and thus have the ability to change the password. I guess this will be easy for most people, but I wouldn't trust an external program accessing my accounts.

I have a crazy good memory so I'm fine remembering as many passwords as I have accounts and would rather just have multi step verification on each of them independently. Not a horrible idea for some but it's just not for me I don't trust 3rd parties with access to my accounts.
