Keep for my next build/upgrade or nah?

Pahddy

A couple of years ago I bought this PSU from a local dealer. Money is tight and I'm trying to save money where I can. I am just wanting to know what you think I should do, keep using it or get a new one for my next build (which could result in having to get a cheaper CPU or mobo!)

Thanks

Yes, Surprised its lasted this long. Whats your budget?

Around £250 (not including RAM and Graphic card and possibly not including the case as I may keep using my HAF 912). I am wanting to build an AMD 6/8 core depending on what the prices are like when I go to purchase.

I did have some problems with it running the Windows 7 OS but never whilst running Windows 8.1 OS.

it depends on your budget, it is fine for a budget under $400, but for anything above that, get a corsair cx430 or cx600

Around £250 (not including RAM, Graphics card, and maybe keeping my old case)

Then you should probably get a new psu, you can get a good one for pretty cheap. I recommend this one.

Easily, you can go up to a great card with it; you couldn't use an r9 290, but you could use up to a 980 on nvidia's side.
