20 us dollars over is fine for me. I will be using a sub and 2 tweeters/ Seinheiers. I'm in middle school and just the price should tell you that i will be using it for more than gaming, i usually like to run lots of programs at once so that's why i'm getting 16 gigs.

I thought your budget was $1600..

Am I wrong?

Just looked back and seems like i screwed up. My bad bro, my budget is actually 2600$.

Alright. I'm all for spending less when you can but you seem to be quite frugal about your funds.

Here's a revised build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/19gOa

Do you really need a bluray drive? It's just throwing away money most of the time.

Also, you're pretty darn loaded for a middle school student.

There is no way i would be able to afford this. My parents said that they could buy the parts one by one. As for the blue-ray drive it is a must because most of the movies we have are blue-ray. I changed the monitor to what you put, is xfx a good psu brand? Also most of these are still the same:

Cpu: It's the one thing that i don't want to change so im getting the best of the best

Cooler: It's a great cooler for its price

Motherboard: I like asus rog and it fits my cpu

Ram: Cheap and good, why not?

HD: Cheap and good, why not?

Video card: Will be gaming a crap ton so i'd like a good graphics card.

Case: I just love design of it. Also the reviews aren't that bad since i last checked.

Psu:

Drive:

Os: Im a windows fan,

Monitor:

You should tell them it's probably better to save up and buy it all at once. Prices fluctuate, new parts and drivers come out, and your build should revolve around the situation.

Xfx psus are basically from Seasonic, who makes some of the best psus around.

As for the asus rog 'fitting' your cpu, you should realize you're doing something wrong when your board costs more than your cpu...

The thing is, you can get a powerful gaming rig for substantially less if you compromise on the parts. Considering your parents are paying for this, it'd be better for their wallet if you brought the total cost down and got a more cost-friendly build. I'm trying not to sound patronizing here but you don't NEED a gtx 780 to play AAA games--just so you know.
