Ghostery a popular add on for desktop blocking user surfing habits, has now become a internet browser for Android. With Ghostery browser users have the options of block everything or customize which ones they want to add to their whitelist. It even has a Ghostery rank, where it improves their blocking service, but that's just optional.  Ghostery browser is built on Android Webview and performance is similar to Google Chrome.

Just make sure GhostRank is off. Ghostery can collect data off of you to give to advertising companies, ever since I heard about this I've stayed away from them. Adblock and NoScript is plenty for my needs.

One more reason I stay away from Ubuntu as well and have stuck with Debian. Canonical spies on the users and sells that info to Amazon and others. It's their entire financial model.
