Power button issues.

Go to solution Solved by LogicalDrm,

Alright, so my Corsair 450D has a two pin power button connector and my mobo has a 3 pin, what do m9?

If you haven't solved this yet, I think you are mixing power and reset button Grounds. The power button ground is next to it, not opposite to it.

check that it is a power button header on the motherboard, not a fan header.

What motherboard do you have? I seriously doubt that you have a 3 pin conncetor on the board for that.

Also the case has 3 pin fans and it has 4 pin connectors, fuck. what do

The 3 pin fans work on 4 pin connectors. They are exactly the same. It's just that the 4 pin has an extra pin for PWM control.

what side of the connector should I favor?

They only fit one way. Follow the indent on the plug with the block on the fan header.

Please do not plug them in while the system is running. You will fry the connector.
