Hyper 212X VS Dark Rock Pro 3 VS Thermaltake Water 3.0 VS NZXT Kraken X31

sloth

I'm currently deciding on a CPU cooler. I've heard many good reviews on the 212 because of its price-performance. Because I am dedicated to theme my build black/red, im very eh about it. The best black air cooler i could find was the be quiet Dark Rock Pro 3, but came in quite pricey for an air cooler and thought i may have some clearance issues. I then though about liquids, but haven't heard much about them and im not willing to spend over $100 for a cooler, despite my cpu will be a non-overclockable one.

Since you seem more interested in looks, go for the dark rock 3 (not pro). Should be quite a bit cheaper than the pro version and will go very well with your theme
