Uplay issues

So I bought Driver SF on steam installed it and it told me I needed to launch it on Uplay so I open up Uplay and it wants me to download it again but every time I try it says no internet connection or inefficient hard drive space. Now I know I have connection and unless the game is over 300 gigs I have space so what's wrong? Any help is appreciated

Open uplay and try it through there.

If you have more than one hard drive make sure it is trying to download to the one with sufficient space.
