I have finally decided to replace my Roccat Kone. The thing is getting old, and setting me at a disadvantage. The side macros have stopped picking up my clicks everytime, the mouse double clicks when I don't want it to and the Hydrophobic rubber is starting to chip and wear away and it's driving my fingers crazy. So, I came here for some help on which new mouse to buy. I play A LOT of CS:GO along with an assortment of casual shooters and everything inbetween. I need something with no acceleration and nothing that will hold me back. No stupid Amazon gimmicks. Any help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. If you're a fanboy, fu*k off.

I use a logitech g502 and love it. People say that g402 is better for fps games but personally, i feel like the extra buttons on the g502 are a must. Iy allows me to map most of my stuff to it in battlefield 4 ie med pack defib etc. Also comes in very handy in other games too.

You hate people who don't want someone with a biased opinion ruining their choice? Sure.

No, setting a nasty tone before the topic even started. Everyone is biased to some degree, you can easily tell yourself when that bias overtakes common sense when someone argues for product A or B.

Anyway, my Zowie AM has no acceleration (negative, positive) and an LOD of 0.9mm. 2300dpi is plenty and the tracking on my Steelseries pad is sublime.

Weight has a good balance and you get 3 extra pads, should they ever wear out.

I play csgo alot also , i would have wanted to go for the g502 , but i'm afraid ill missclick some of those buttons , you know , keep it simple .

I will go with the Corsair m65

That's my issue. I don't need many buttons. I do like having the two side ones for say, voice chat and in game things. But, it'm fine either way.

The Corsair M45 or M65 are great choices, either one of those would do great in my opinion.

I do like my corsair m60. But in terms of your grip type you might need to get use to the new feel. Shouldn't take to long the more you use it. That's choice was really just because I'm using it at the moment. Don't feel like going to in depth about gaming mouse choices right now because I don't know how hardcore you are right now. Plus there is a sale going on with corsair mice that you should probs check out. You can see that in the hotdeals section of the forum.

I had this feeling to at first, but once you have the mouse in your hand it's actually hard to miss hit them. I have yet to do this in the 3 months iv'e had it :)

Would you recommend? Also. What;s it like with the ambi-buttons?

You can set it to either side via some button combination. So you won't accidentally hit the ones on the other side, regardless of whether you're left or right-handed.

Any yaeh, this is about as bare-metal/hardcore mice you can get. It's no software, no gimmicks/accessoirs bullshit. It's made for a specific audience, mainly pro-gamers.

Thanks man! Looking around, I think I am going to go with it. It's my birthday tomorrow, so I will have the money. Thanks for any suggestions though.

You have to look up the characteristics about the AM and FK1 though. Their curvature is slightly different, and the FK1 uses the new Avago 3310. Arguably the best sensor on the market right now.

The AM is more of a palm-grip mouse, the FK1 for clawgrip.

I'm all about that clawgrip.
