Hey guys, I am replacing my Krakens finally and I need a mic to go along with my ATH-AD500xs that I picked up on sale for 80 bucks. I need a good stand alone microphone for around 50 bucks. I know of the Blue Snowball, but is there anything better than it that you would recommend? My preferred color is black or green but that doesn't really matter. Thanks for your responses! bai now

EDIT: One of the things I was trying to avoid with a stand alone mic was leakage to the mic from my headphones like what I get with my Krakens, so I won't really be able to use a modmic or something that is to close to my head.

wow, thats a lot of bees!

CAD U37 occasionally goes on sale within budget.

Don't even worry about that. It isn't an issue anyone has. The ModMic is a perfectly good option.
