My friend is about to buy http://www.amazon.com/HEIR-AUDIO-Monitor-Earphone-detachable/dp/B00GAUBOK4 for 686SGD. CAN SOMEONE TELL HIM IT ISNT WORTH IT D: And any other good IE recommendations?

Why don't you just let him do what he wants and learn from whatever mistakes he may (or may not) make?

If you don't feel like loaning him to get that, then don't.

I own a pair of hd 700's so this is literally nothing. yet still worthless for earbuds in my opinion.

The best you can do for him is tell him it's a huge waste of money and explain to him the principle that there's always a 'sweet spot' when buying these type of things, and that he's not in it right now.

The large majority of people cannot hear a difference between a proper MP3 file or a lossless file, and the reason isn't because of their gear, it's because the differences are so damned small.

The large majority of people cannot hear a difference between a proper MP3 file or a lossless file, and the reason isn't because of their gear, it's because the differences are so damned small.

Probably because the vast majority are used to CD/MP3 quality and apple or beats

$400 for earphones/IEMs is still considered mediocre. Try googling 'JHAudio Roxanne'

He ended up going for a 480 dollars earphones because i didnt lend him xD
