I'm waking up at 6 in the morning, but going TO BB at 6PM just so I can pick up a 1 TB Seagate HDD and a 120GB PNY SSD. Both under 50 bucks each.

Aren't those pretty close to regular prices? Maybe saving like $5 each?

The SSD is normally 65 bucks, and the HDD is close to 60.

Still, not huge savings. You can get the 240gb for about the same price.

No. I went to Best Buy yesterday around noon after my lecture to go pick up some duracell batteries and a few other little things, and there were like 20 people already camped out.

Apparently its because they are selling this Samsung 4k TV for $899.

How about people actually just set aside a day's pay by working on November 25 & 26 (instead of camping out) and buy it like normal people. But apparently logic doesn't exist.

I'm using http://frozencpu.com I don't know if they will have any sales or not, but might as well try right? :)

All the dealzzz  :P

I might consider that and yeah wouldn't hurt if we could get a discount on watercooling, however much it'll be.

You know going to Staples is actually good idea. Less people there than any other crazy store(i went there last year and there were only like 30 or less people), price match other stores prices.

I don't do black friday at all. I wouldn't go if you payed me. Best Buy's "black friday" opens at 5PM on Thanksgiving. How does that make sense?

In addition, most people who camp out two days in advanced could have just worked on the 25 and 26 of November and buy the products without any stress.

I'll admit, the Samsung 4k 55" Tv is a steal, along with the curved Samsung 4k display that got discounted by $900, but it isn't worth the stress or hassle in my opinion.

EDIT:

In my opinion, these are some of the better deals, although, if you haven't camped out already, you will probably be out of luck:

Thats the curved version, if you look at my previous post, in the US, we also have the flat non curved version for $899. So no flat version for Canada?

Ahhh, ok that would explain it, and apparently not on sale this black friday at least we do have a version that is flat:

Wow, now that is expensive, compared to the US's $899 deal... I feel sorry for Canadians.

This is how I feel living so close but have no way of getting there and back  :(

@bubbelewhale

Your regular price is basically our sale price this friday for that core i5 4690k  :o

How does Fry's and Microcenter make a profit or break even on this stuff I thought there was already fairly small margins on computer components.

I personally dont know. I have 2 Fry's and 1 Micro Center within a 30 minute drive from where I live. I think they buy in massive bulk stock, otherwise, I see no way it would be possible.
