Hopefully true.. The old one has about a 5% chance of showing the correct thing you were looking for.

I used it, especially for thread-specific or user-specific stuff. The site Google search works fine if you're worried about reposts. Ran into a couple situations since search went away where I would have liked to use it, but if I'm the only one I can understand why they axed it.

It has been removed because it was causing some server-side issues. It will not remain removed permanently, but there is no ETA for its return.

For now, the best way to search the forum is to use a Google search for site:linustechtips.com <query>
