Rumor has it that GTA V will support mantle, requiring it to be optimized.  But seriously, why are developers this lazy?

Generally its not a problem, the odd game has a few issuers now and again, its only recently, and mostly ubisoft that has become an issue

For some reason I feel that developers are being lazy on purpose and using the excuse of "Next Gen Games are Harder To Make" to make crappy ports for PC, and that next year, or in 2 years time, everything will be better again and we will all live happily ever after, until the next generation In the end I feel that it's consoles that are holding game development down, since they have to optimize the game on different platforms.

Well I use Nvidia GPU so its okay with me.

Why don't companies just hire another company to port their games Bethesda did it with oblivion on ps3 and it was much more playable than fallout 3 and NV and skyrim

Umm... How about no. Source is very outdated, despite all the updates, bug fixes and whatnot. It's archaic and needs replacement.

Rockstar has proven to be perfectionists when it comes to GTA5, and i think there is a reason that they delayed the PC release. I think it's very unlikely that the PC version will be a broken port.

It's not horrendous, but it's not great.  Still better than AC: Unity.
