Best multiplayer games for long bus ride

Trail Mixorz

I'm gonna have my laptop, a mouse, 2 controllers, and my best bud on a bus ride from college for 7 hours and need some good games to play to pass the time.

We already have game cube emulator because we obviously aren't gonna play our gamecube on the bus lol so maybe some steam games or something.

Thanks guys!

Edit: Bus has outlets but no wifi, so no online multiplayer games.

You sure that laptop is gonna last for 7 hours. Id be lucky to even get 2 since laptop gaming drains battery like nobody's business. Edit:nevermind saw the edit.

Portal 2 is a fun game, has split screen.

It's also pretty easy to run on any computer. So the battery will be fine.

Can't wait to see others suggestions. Local multiplayer certainly ain't PC strong point.

I nominate SpeedRunners. It's a free running / parkour race with weapons... Like Mario kart / WipeOut. It's in early access but it's sooooo fun. I'm at 30 hours in. If the bus has wifi, you 2 + 2 others can be A LOT of fun.

Just watched the videos on steam, looks really fun! Definitely on the list, but unsure about that $10 price point for this type of game

Gang beasts and nidhogg are 2 games that i've seen.

Fuck yeah gang beasts! Never heard of nidhogg I'll check it out

grid 2 and Injustice : Gods among us has local MP.

and i think you can tweak borderlands 2 to play local MP.

First two games are meh but if there are split screen mods for BL2 that would be sweet

If it has outlets, bring a wireless router. Use a VPN software like LogMeIn Hamachi. No need for internet access.

Also, If you have any favorite flash games that are local machine multiplayer, follow this tutorial to download it locally to your computer
