Get rid of that dominator platinum and go for vengeance pro or hyperx fury or hyperx savage

And if you really want to save every penny, you could swap out that 850 Pro for a MX100 and get a mildly slower writes (And less endurance, bla bla bla)

Everything else looks nice :D Also please use PCPartPicker next time :D

Location, usage, and do you need peripherals, monitor(s), or an OS?

Why replace the dominator platinum?

Because they are over priced, It's just RAM dude, Are you going to be doing extreme overclocking with your RAM? Probably not, also the Vengeance Pro is one step down from the dominator platinum's but is much cheaper and still is good for overclocking, if you are in to that. If you want a shorter heat spreader which you don't need because you are getting a AIO, Look in to the hyperx savage (One step UP from the fury and is new)

Which RAM do you recommend?

And what do you think about the motherboard?

I went over budget didn't I?

I went with the 290s since 970s weren't available for some reason.

You can get a noctua cooler instead of the H100i

I went with the 850 since it's cheaper than the 840 EVO (lol.. I wish I could live in that world) (Switch this out for something cheaper like an ADATA or an MX 100 if you need to)

Get rid of the optical drive/Wifi if you want

Case fans are also a luxury here.

Check on the reliability of the RAM.

I like Gskill ram, it is some of the best ram you can get and it is also very affordable. The motherboard is fine, though a bit overkill. I would go with a 4690k if you are just gaming, but if you do things like video editing the 4790k is fine.
