Does ACU support OpenGL?

Hello,

 

I know that's a dumb question but I wanna know, can I play the game on OpenGL instead of Dx11. Seems like DX11 is not good at handling 50 000 draw calls, and the only other way is OpenGL...If yes, that might be one way to get more performance...

Nope, but it does support the fact ubisoft sucks.

Ok looks like I am forced to wait for DX12 then. OpenGL seems like a better API, why on earth don't they use it when they know it will be a better choice for that game.... omg it's so frustrating!

Unity likely doesn't feature any support for DirectX 12, either. It's problems are a little deeper than just having used "the wrong API."

i am No expert But judging by What most devs say opengl in it's current form is harder to use and less well documented than directX11.

Of course within about a years time we should have nice shiny new versions of both directX and opengl which address all the longstanding issues. It would be fantastic for the industry if opengl next takes off. One API to rule them all, across multiple operating systems and hardware form factors.
