x99 pc build help

Is it possible for a good x99 build for around $1000 usd and If so could you help me make one. I will be using it for video editting and gaming. Also I would like windows 8 to be included

You would get much more bang/$ sticking to a Devils Canyon (I7-4790K) build. IMO

Don't do a x99 build if your budget is only 1k$.  Get a x97 Build

You are not going to get a decent x99 build with just 1k$ budget. I think you would be ok with a Z97 one or Z87.

i'd spend at least 1.5-1,8k if i would go x99.
