Its a pretty broken game. Even on the consoles so reaching ultra textures is nigh impossible on single cards while still maintaining solid consistent framerates.

Found the source of my 20FPS. This mofos was few blocks away from the cathedral yet it still get rendered. That's how bad the optimization is.

Lol I hate using the word "graphics", I sound like a console gamer who only cares about the visuals and don't actually know what textures are.

If you have a high end gpu (780,780ti,290x,290,970,980 and like that) it looks good, if you have less than that, it will run poorly.

*Whistle* Thats the basic of optimization right? Not rendering objects you're not looking at. I remember TB saying he got drops in the Notre Dame for no apparent reason too.

Ultra settings every looks good. During game play I'm getting 45-60 fps cuts scenes drop to 30 thats with a 980.

Lowering AA can get you pretty close to a solid 60 but still some drops.

@xAcid9 Well your gpu is pegged at almost 100% and your cpu is nowhere near. At least thats what I call a bottleneck

Welp... Looks like I'll be opting out on this one... Haven't played Liberation and Black Flag yet... I stopped at AC III...

That's what i call DX11/API bottleneck.

Insane drawcalls tank the FPS.
