Battlefield 4 livestream starting!

Minjon

I would go with full amd, better money/performance and 8core processors are gonna dominate because of the new consoles.

I would go AMD because I'm an AMD fan, even though I love performance over anything else, and obviously 3960x is the best CPU on the market right now, as well as Titan(well I would go 780 than Titan, but the point is there.)

As for another reason I would get AMD would be that these new gen. consoles are powered by AMD the games that will be ported from or to the consoles will run significantly better on AMD, in this case that FX-9000 series CPU and a 7970 or... dam' that 780 is so awesome right now, I really have to wait for next GPU's from AMD, I would like to skip Crossfire at all cost, so in no way getting 7990 especially because of the price and my empty wallet.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12; GPU: GeForce RTX 3080 Gigabyte Vision OC V2 10GB; PSU: EVGA 750W 80+ Gold Certified; RAM: 4x32GB (w/RGB xd); SSD: 1xM.2 Samsung 980 Pro 1TB, 1xM.2 Samsung 970 Pro 1TB, 1xWD 6TB HDD; OS: 10; Monitor: 2xAorus IPS 27" (2560x1400)Keyboard: Corsair K95; Mouse: Mionix Naos 7000 w/ Steelseries QcK mousepad.

Laptop - HP Omen 15" w/5800U, GPU 3070, 1TB M.2 WD Black, 16GB RAM.

Looks exactly like BF3...which played exactly like BC2. GFG Dice/EA. This would've been an expansion a few years ago...

Nope. It might not be ground-breaking, but it is DEFINITELY more than an expansion. Don't judge before you've played the game.

I'm interested in the building that can come down, do other maps have similar features??

Cooler Master 690 II Advanced - I5 2500K @ 4.5Ghz - Geil Enhance Plus 1750Mhz 8Gb - ASUS ENGTX 570 DCUII - MSI Z68aGD65 - Scythe Mugen 2 Rev. B - Samsung 830 128gb and Crucial m4 128gb - much other stuff not worth mentioning

I think they confirmed in livestream that levolution will be on every map in some kind of form. Also on that bridge in the alpha map you can press a button on the bridge and pillars/blocks will get up and block any vehicle from going to other side.

Pretty easy to judge a company/dev that have been so disappointing and predictable the last 5-6 years. Another BF, another game that won't live up to 2. Another missed chance for great comp. Another game with infrequent patches. Yet another BF with lackluster PC support. Should I continue?

No you should not, just stop. It's the little things that make or break a game, such as hit registration, the feel when you play etc. So if you haven't played, stop being so god damn pessimistic because it might turn out to be one of the best games this year!

Please give me an example of a company that has actually been more innovative in the multiplayer aspect of a game.

Starsiege Tribes had more in 1999, lmao. BF4 will be another low skill ceiling COD:Conquest Edition that the past few have been. I wish I was wrong because BF2 is in my top 5 FPS games of all time, but I doubt it.

Fair enough :) but to me arma is more of a casual game, while bf3 is more competitive to me and I just love doing clan wars

Arma has had the competitive scene for 11 years also.

Spectator mode and cams are community made.

http://www.youtube.com/user/Dslyecxi

Many of the people participating in these are active and former members of military forces around the world.

Then there is VB2 [Arma's big brother] which takes it to a whole new level.

Battlefield clans are COD kiddies compared to those guys.

Sure, but when I see things like that I always ask myself: if it's so awesome, why isn't everyone playing that?

Because all those uber l33t tactical Battlefield players aren't up to it.

It's easier to play an arcade game and pretend to be tacticool then it is to actually do it.

The same reason why Hardcore Mode in Battlefield isn't as popular,

There are COD and Battlefield players that actually think not being a bullet sponge and dieing from 1 bullet isn't realistic.

They actually think the explosions and destruction in BF is realistic

Yeah, there are a lot of kiddos on BF nowadays... anyway me and my clan, we play hardcore mode almost exclusively. But honestly you don't play a videogame for it to be realistic, you play it to have fun.

On Arma 2 i exclusively play wasteland and DayZ, the game has tons of bugs and has X Y sensitivity..... a lot of times its frustrating and no way i would play normal Arma 2.

I play games to have fun and be competitive, i'm not in front of a computer to be a wannabe irl soldier. But to each of their own :) .
