OverClocking My 290x Problems

so recently I water cooled my r9 290x, I did a bit of overclocking. 1100mhz is the highest I can go before i start to artifacting I think its called, if i go higher than 1170 any game i play may as well be called shroom simulator! I forgot to ask is this normal good or did I get an unlucky GPU?

oh well, sounds like my 780 can't do a lot with it i tried but it always crashes if i hit like +80/+50 mhz on the core

Probably a bad chip; just go safe and keep it under or equal to 1100.

Every GPU is different, and it seems like yours is not one of the best.

Just leave it where its stable and be happy you could overclock at all :)
