Do you feel akward doing something personal in front of a device with a webcam?

I never was comfortable in front of webcams. I was about to format my girlfriend's old laptop a while ago when i decided to run Malwarebytes. Her ex had installed a keylogger with the feature to send snapshots via email. From then on, i strafe any webcam away from me when i am about to do something, ahem, personal.

hmmmm, interesting idea..... just kidding i don't plan on infesting a computer with malware:)

Nope, not cool enough for anyone to stalk me :/

And my main rig doesn't have a webcam.

CPU: i5 2500K (@ stock for now) GPU: Gigabyte GTX650Ti OC MOBO: Intel P67 RAM: 2x4GB Kingston (@1333MHz) PSU: 550w Xilence CASE: Generic :D MONITOR: Dell U2412M (24', 1200p 16:10) MOUSE: Acme something KB: Logitech K260

I am not bothered at all. My laptop has a webcam facing me 24/7. I just hope the one day someone is spying at me, I'm actually waving towards the camera and they will think "O.o How do they know I am doing this...."

Nope, I usually never use anyone else’s computer anyways, though if I do I am a little bit cautious. Also I don’t have a webcam connected to my desktop (most of the time I don’t even have my mic plugged in). So the only computer with a webcam that I have is my laptop which I don’t really have turned on most of the time.

never use a webcam, i don't video change on skype only voice chat.

Not really. My webcam has a little light on it that turns on when the webcam is on. If it were to turn on without my intent, I would notice immediately.

 

There's way to turn that off I am affraid, I did some... research ;)

Honestly I tried doing it to a friend of me, to troll him with - never succeeded.

So many things I could write here... things like this.

I dont really care about it to be honest. To be truthful I was on skype in a meeting this morning but I turned off the led so nobody noticed it.
