[Amazon] Rosewill Hyperborea 120mm, 140mm [$5.99, $7.99]

120mm: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B006DKEQV0/?tag=ppxe-20

140mm: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B006CSKM20/?tag=ppxe-20

Solid fans that are getting near to their original price again and hard to go wrong with. They're rebranded Akasa Apaches and are what I refer to as slightly nerfed NF-F12's.

I replaced all the fans in my system with these, they are really solid performers.

the 120mm at 12v has the same cooling capabilities than a SP120PE PWM at 12v

and far more quieter. system idle the fans are at 585 rpm and don't ramp up until

a favorable load is pushing the temperature just using UEFI "Silent Mode".

the 120 hyper is quieter than the F12, better temp quality and is blacked out.

can't do anything for the "looks" but for thermal comfort, these are the bees-knees.

when they are running, you won't notice the blade pattern.

They perform between NF-P12's and NF-F12's for rads and are a bit louder than either at low speeds. http://www.anandtech.com/show/6391/120mm-radiator-fan-roundup-part-2-fan-harder/6
