maybe there is a information somewhere, rumor?

Rumors are abundant. Apparently the high end ones will have a water cooler. That's the only rumor I can remember. But they'll most likely (Hopefully) Have better performance at a lower TPD.

AMD Radeon Rx 300 launch may happen in Fiji

I think after months of speculating it’s already a common knowledge, that next flagship GPU is called Fiji. It’s worth noting that until now, we didn’t really have any proof of it being called Fiji. Things may change a bit, thanks to the latest entry in Zauba.

Zauba is a database of import and export data, which was very helpful for the past few months before Maxwell GM204 made an appearance. According to the latest entry, AMD is currently finishing the C880 model, which is believed to be the backbone of Radeon R9 390 series, equipped with Fiji processor.

Similarly, Radeon R9 290 and R9 290X are using the same board known as C671, so technically we could conclude C880 will be the utilized by both Fiji PRO and Fiji XT (R9 390 and R9 390X respectively).

Is it going to be any better then 200 series?

Why wouldn't it be? I mean I doubt the R9 370 will be a 290X beater, but each relative 'replacement' should be better than the last. Otherwise AMD would be shooting themselves in the foot, especially given the simultaneous gains in performance and efficiency Nvidia have made with their latest GTX 900-series cards.

A rumour at this stage is 3d stacked ram. Will bring a huge leap forward in either memory bandwidth, or cost reduction, or a bit of both...

AMD knows how fast their next cards need to be to beat the latest Nvidia releases, or at the very least how cheap they need to be to compete against them. It would be pretty silly of them to miss on both counts.

Ill laugh so hard if amd choose to increase tdp to get more performance thd opposite of nvidia hahHHHHHa

Well if the performance gains are tremendous, then there will be some who won't mind the increase in power consumption if it means a more powerful GPU.

Its all speculation at this point though.  I am very curious to see how the new 300 series AMD GPUs turn out.

Why? How badly does a high-end desktop gaming PC really need a GPU that ducks in under a 170 Watt TDP?

I would actually prefer they did that. Cards with 230–250 Watt TDPs were already cool and quiet enough for a high-end PC, I'd rather they delivered more performance with that power than scale back the power demands. We're not talking about GTX 480's or HD 6990's here.

not saying is a bad thing to use more power, it's just ironic compare to nvidia, proving them no need to reduce power for performace lol
