My new ram doesnt work

Slyhawk

I am having trouble installing the new ram i got "patriot signature 8gb kit (4gx2) ddr3-1600 - psd38g1600kh", after installing on startup there's constant beeping, i tried putting only one and both. I also updated my bios to the latest stable version tried the beta version and it didnt work wouldnt go to windows screen, my old ram still works and i dont know what to do to make the new ones work. I checked all the specs and my mobo should be able to handle it its 1.5v and 1600 any help would be greatly apreciated. I would have uploaded pics of the ram but the images are to large. I also dont have a way to know if the new ram is defective since i only have one comp and a laptop.

My Specs:

Processor:    Intel® Core2 Quad CPU Q8400 @ 2.66GHz

Motherboard: GIGABYTE  GA-EP43T-UD3L REV. 1.0

Video Card:    AMD Radeon HD 5700 Series

Memory:    4 GB Elixir PC3 ddr3-1333

Case: Thermaltake M9

PSU: GreatWall GW550SEL 550 WATT

Edit: took photos in lower res and files were smaller attached pics.

Old ram: post-125467-0-38923300-1415526144_thumb.

New ram: post-125467-0-83927300-1415526178_thumb.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

Edit 2: one of the new ram doesnt work tried it on my mates comp and the other worked and seems there not compatible so will see if i can exchage them or just replace them and build a new PC since my current is 5 or 7 yr old, thanks for the help and advice.

Do you have a friend's computer you can try the RAM in?

Take a pic after you installed them (to check whether you installed them properly!) :)

Could be that your m/bd doesn't like the voltages or the timing. It's gotten old without you noticing. :) If you find that it works in your friend's comp then you'll just need to rma them. If you want to persist, I would recommend going to old ram. Kingston has some as does... Mushkin? Or is it Crucial? Damn! Anyway, there stuff out there that will fit your board but it will probably be ridiculously expensive vs the new stuff.

Sir William of Orange: Corsair 230T - Rebel Orange, 4690K, GA-97X SOC, 16gb Dom Plats 1866C9,  2 MX100 256gb, Seagate 2tb Desktop, EVGA Supernova 750-G2, Be Quiet! Dark Rock 3, DK 9008 keyboard, Pioneer BR drive. Yeah, on board graphics - deal with it!

If he has to RMA them(and if they're incompatible), G.Skill is another viable option. I've been using budget memory from them for a few years in my rig.
