XDCAM EX .mov files not viewable in Sony Vegas Pro 12

I'm working on an important project and I've done a bunch of filming and all of the files come off the camera as .mov files. They're viewable within Windows, like in the folder they are located in but when I drag them into Vegas Pro 12 I only get one audio channel and no video. If I try to convert the video to something like an .mp4 then I can see the video but the quality drops by a ton. The files can't be opened in Quicktime and when I CTRL+I it says the file is trying to use an XDCAM EX codec which I have no idea how to get. I've looked around but to now avail, please help!
