CPU or GPU ???

My current specs :

  

  - i3-3220

  - Evga Gt 640 (2gb ddr3)

  - Z77A-GD55 motherboard by MSI

 - 2 5400RPM hard disks recovered from an old pc

 

so, what should i upgrade ? I play mainly games and somethimes i render some clips.

I would upgrade the graphicscard

The graphics card. Upgrading your CPU won't benefit you as much in terms of gaming performance

For gaming the graphics processing unit (gpu) is more important than the cpu. Also your cpu is a pretty decent gaming cpu.

You might wanna get 7950 instead if you're just gaming.
