Anyone use LinX for testing stable OC?

I use Prime95 and OCCT (which got a Linpack implementation aswell). Never used LinX tho.

How long do you test for? Overnight? 24-48 hours?

 

That really depends on the purpose of the build and what kind of OC i'm going for.

 

Non OC Gaming PC -> 3-4 hours + memtest86. 

 

High overclock with low volts for mission critical workstation min 24 hours in Prime95 and another 24 hours Linpack.

 

But usually around 8 hours Prime95 + a couple of hours Linpack for a moderate overclock.
