Well Hello PC Gaming

MPX309

Ok so I decided to test out Tomb Raider. . . . I haven't clocked anything in my hardware. . . so all stock, using MSI Afterburner to check GPU Temps and Frame rate. . . On Ultra getting between 55-60fps with around 60 degrees gpu, I have to say it looks immense (I've cheated and bought a xbox controller until I can afford some good perifs) but anyhow, yup this is essentially the first game I've played on my PC now in terms of u know (excluding sim city 4 lol), and I'm downloading Bioshock now, will probs go to sleep whilst it downloads.

Ok well u're probably all thinking this is no big deal, but I've been using my PS3 for games up until just now, I will still use it n stuff but I think alot more of my gaming now will be done via this.

Card is a HD 7870

Tomb Raider should be played with a controller anyways. But anyways, yes. Going from console to PC is just like mind=blown. The 60FPS or close to it continously is awesome, with a higher amount of details.

I'm owning 2x xbox 360 wireless controllers myself, even though i never used any console besides Nintento 64. (And some Gamecube)

Some games are just meant to be played with a controller.

i've never tried a controller on my pc, i just tweak arround with the controls to make it work, what games you mean? i do use sturing wheel for need for speed and other "high end" race games, so i'm not agains putting keyboard and mouse away for something better, just never felt like, yeah this would be better with a controller

Well, yeah racing games (Blur, NFS), also games like Assassins Creed or other ported console games tend to be somewhat optimized for controllers.

i love the assans creed saga, and i actually feel like a controller would make it harder for me, because i do have a game keyboard and mouse, so i have a lot of buttuns to set to specific things :p. maybe something like fita would need a controller, but i don't play sports games. and shooters are easier with a mouse xD i guess since i never really where a console gamer, just use ps3 for gran tourismo and other ps3 only games; i'm used to using keyboard and mouse.
