What is the best liquid cooler out there right now? I've never used liquid cooling before and I'm thinking about trying it with my 4670k.

I know the Corsair H100i is good but are there any better ones? I'm probably only planning on overclocking my processor to maybe 4.2 Ghz or a bit higher and I know a hyper 212 evo could probably cover that. However I want to water cool it because it looks fun and it seems like a little project I would enjoy.

Also what is the difference between this kind of liquid cooling and the ones where people have tubes that go around their entire case. Correct me if I'm wrong but is this what people refer to as a "custom loop?" In the end is it still all just going to your processor and nothing else? I am aware that there is graphics card liquid cooling as well.

Swifttech H240-x is by far the best

Thermaltake Water 3.0 Extreme, if your case can fit a 360.

And a custom loop looks better, and allows for future expansions, while an aio(minus swiftech's) are meant for just a single thing.

I have a corsair 450D, and a custom loop is still only going to the processor unless you connect it to your graphics card as well correct?

Looks cool and it's well within my budget, I can chose any colour there? Also would it fit in a Corsair 450D?

Not any color, you have white blue red and green i think. Also it should fit in the 450D but google it to be sure

Yeah that's what I meant by the colours, and I think it can fit into a 450D.

Yep, it fits at the top without any issues really

I'm still waiting to see how the DEEPCOOL Captain 360m, and the Raijintek Triton compare to the H-240x. My main concern about the H-240x is that it doesn't look like you can mount it in a vertical orientation instead of just the standard horizontal. Also I like the look of their cpu blocks, can't wait until they come out and we get an LTT review (*fingers crossed*)

The only way to not orient the H220-x/H240-x is to have the pump inlet above the reservoir, everything else is fine.

The CPU block is long out now, and plenty of proper reviews also.

I would still prefer the ability to remove the pump from the reservoir and relocate it elsewhere. I haven't seen an H-220/240x up close so I don't really know what ways you can orient it, even taking your statement into account.

For instance, on my Corsair Air 540, would I be able to mount it to the front intake of my case, with the reservoir window at the bottom of the radiator, with the little window on the reservoir facing the side panel window of my case?
