HTC One M8 vs 5s

I currently have a 5s. Ive had it for about 6 months or so and it is absolutely awful. I highly dislike IOS 8 and am highly considering buying out of the contract to get the M8, does anybody have a One/had a 5s, if so which do you like better? Also sorry for not searching around, just frustrated and need new opinions.

I have a One M8, I came from an iPhone.

 

The first question I have is, why exactly do you think it's awful?

 

I wouldn't step to an M8 from an iPhone 5S. I would go for a less qwirky device in terms of aftermarket ROM support. It's a good device, but the camera and ROMs ruined it for me. Maybe consider Bacon (the OnePlus One), the Nexus 6 or an LG G3?

iPhones may not be the best phones on the market, but by no means are they bad. The phones themselves are built well and iOS 8 is pretty high quality. 

 

What's your problem with it?

I vouch for this. They seem pretty stunning to look at and right now a nice used one goes for the same price as a OnePlus One. Plus, iOS 8 looks really smooth, even on a iPhone 4S.
