Hi, i am looking to buy a laptop under $1500 dollars which gives me good performance per $ and that is formal and thin enough such that i can bring it to work (i basically dont want a 10cm thick laptop with loads of gaming logos). I will be using this laptop almost the whole day, part will be simple word and browsing and part will be gaming. So far i have researched a bit and found the acer aspire VN7-591G-74SK to be quite good. (V Nitro series)

Acer aspire VN7-591G-74SK specs :

processor: intel core i7-4710HQ quad-core at 2.5GHz

display: 1920 x 1080     15.6" display

graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M with 2 GB dedicated memory

memory: 16GB DDR3L SDRAM

storage: 1TB HDD  +  256GB SSD

Let me know if you think 2GB is enough i am a bit worried since i would like to run 2 external monitors at 1080p while gaming (not in surround gaming) and my current 512MB is far from enough. Let me know aswell if you know a laptop under $1500 that will beat the VN7-591G-74SK, im sure there is but i suck at finding.    Thanks in advance for any help.

Note: I dont care if its Intel, AMD or Nvidia, all i want is performance and quality.

Get something like an msi gt/gs/ge laptop, they're quite the bang for the buck

the lenovo y50 seems nice but should i worry about it having only 8GB of memory ?

I don't think you should. My current pc I use for gaming only has 8 and that's more than enough for me playing modern fps games. Unless your going to run a server you shouldn't need more than 8.

@sebastien calvignac this laptop is wonderful but it is $100 over budget. The y50 is also pretty damn good. These are the two main laptops I would recommend for your price point.

If you don't care about portability, you could go for a 17" inch model. Its more comfortable to game on.
