Hey,
I'm having trouble when booting up my pc. The computer doesn't appear to take any keyboard input at all.
Context: I have this PC with no hard drive but with working motherboard, GPU, PSU, CPU etc... I am simply trying to boot the computer off a USB stick with windows 10 installed on it. So i go through the usual procedure, heading into the bios and changing the boot order such that USB is first. However after rebooting it doesn't boot onto the usb drive like i want it to. Therefore i start troubleshooting for the next 8 hours with the help of guides on the web. They suggested to change things such as: enabling legacy mode, disabling fast boot, disabling secure boot etc... after trying perhaps a hundred combination of different settings, I boot up once more but this time the keyboard no longer takes input, the lights go on as usual but pressing keys does nothing. This leads me to believe i must have disabled usb ports while i was in the bios and now i can't access the bios. Great.
At this point i see two options;
Buy new motherboard(not going to happen)
Reset CMOS which i have no idea how to do
my parts:
motherboard: HP 696233-001
CPU: i5-3350p
GPU: MSI r9 390
PSU: unkown
