I use Adblock but i turn it off for Youtubers that deserve it like Linus, Poper blocker because the in built pop up blocker does not work, Linus tech tips extension, Ghostery and ZenMate

I use a chromebook so i have rather a lot.

 

a few games don't show there nor does http://www.googulator.com/ <- this being a gameboy emulater that runs totally in chrome :)

I use just one, Disconnect. If you don't use this extension, you're missing out on a blazing fast web experience (my page load times here on LTT alone are 5-30%+ faster with it).

 

P.S. It's open source as well.

jDownloader 2 is much better then DownThemAll and works in all browsers as its a separate program.

For open source software it has tad too many bloatware and ads. So far its not what I would like but I can see why you think it matches with DownThemAll!. And it apparently lacks the main function why I use DTA in first place. Ability to download all linked files in page. Useful when courses have material listed as links to PDF files. I tried jDownloader in one of those sites, used link grabber and it didn't find any files. I also need popup which asks about dl location since I don't want to dump everything in single folder. In all it is a option but not near features I which I use DTA for. If you know how I can get it working like DTA, pm me.

Download the offline installer. I have no ads or bloatware from it. An make sure you use JD2. You can also do a deep scan site to get files from multiple pages in sites.

Did and did. The beta installer had 2 bloatware's which I didn't notice first because I thought it was open source software. Those don't generally have bloatware with them. Deep scan finds 2 images on the page I used as test, it should find 10 pdfs also if it would work correctly. Also another site (which would be useless since jD can dl Twitch links straight away) it couldn't find .flv files.
