PSU for 100 or less

thesalman569

For a single GPU rig, 500W is more than enough. Seasonic 550RM is a good unit.

second to that, but more headroom means OP can change his/hers mine about sli

EVGA is a fine PSU maker BUT I am assuming you want

THE BEST!

so here it is:

Seasonic is by far the best.

Here are two options for 750W (mod vs nonmod in $25 price diff.)

The evga g2 is actually better

Not sure how reliable it is, but here is a part I was looking at buying.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139061

Find some reviews.

$105 and 750 Watt. Comes out to 85 after MIR.

The CS-M series is alright but overpriced. The capstone 750m is better and cheaper: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/rosewill-power-supply-capstone750m

I thought the EVGA was overpriced.

They are both 80 plus gold and modular.

This one comes out way cheaper after the MIR. Is there something I am missing?

EVGA's pricing is quite aggressive considering the quality of the unit and the very generous 10 year warranty.

The Capstone 750m has a $20 off promo code as well and not just a $20 rebate card.

The Capstone is made by a better manufacturer Super Flower instead of Great Wall that made the cs750m and has a 7 year warranty instead of just 3.

oh. Ok.

I'd also seen this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EB7UITQ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A31OA4FK4BG48

It's from the same manufacturer? I take it it's a pos as well?

I get it, the warranty tells the picture. /edit.

Corsair rebrands from OEM's and don't actually make the entire unit themselves. The rm750 in particular is manufactured by Chicony. The rm series is solid and a bit better than the cs series but both tend to be overpriced.

'As well'? The cs series isn't bad--just not the best value while the Capstone line is great.

Nothing can beat Seasonic

Just because it's Seasonic doesn't mean it's automatically the best.
