I think this topic goes in this section? Sorry if it doesn't. But. I was wondering what is the best lighting that is budget friendly and reliable. Whatever the product is it has to be RGB and brightness needs to be able to be controlled. I was looking at the NZXT Hue but saw alot of negative reviews. So is the Hue a good choice, or are their other products that better fit this?

The NZXT hue kit gave me a real headache trying to evening get it to look good... Stay away from it IMO.

I would say there are quite a few on frozenCPU and other websites. RGB ones have been hard for me to find so I'm looking also.

NZXT Hue worked great for me.

All the colours are nice and bright, except white doesnt look great (because its RGB)

It also has effects if you like, and its really easy to change the brightness, colour, etc... all manually.

Quality is great, but the adhesive wont stick too well to the top of your case (this is a problem with all LED strips that come with adhesive) so you might want to get some double sided foam tape for sticking it upside down

I got an RGB kit from ebay. Came with the strip, with 3M backing, and a remote control module.

$20 got me more than enough for 3 builds, and the strips are essentially the same thing that most other strips use.

Hmmm mixed reviews with the Hue, but I actually think I'll get it. I'm going to get the H440 or the Carbide 540. If I get the H440 I have to do something ghetto lol, but I saw some ways other people did it and they made it work. Well thank you for your suggestions everyone! Hopefully I won't have your experience with the Hue Deletive.
