easy, but you can brick the motherboard and face the RMA process...avoid bios flashing if possible.

Like said its easy but. The thing is that there is two ways of doing it. Both have same risks. And both have bit different people who recommend it. Software is usually seen as unstable board breaker. That might have been the thing few years back. But I've succesfully done it with 2 generations of Z-boards on 2 different manufacturers without problems. The other way is with @BIOS/Q-Flash etc. which basicly is when you download and extract files to USB and run update withing BIOS. This is seen as safe way but it requires more on your end. Like USB stick and knowledge on how to put files on it.

As both have same risks they are following:

1) Install fails due corrupted file. You can't do nothing but your board may survive.

2) You boot in wrong place during install. It fails and your mobo is gooner.

3) Power cuts in middle of install. You basicly could have UPS, but since most don't, your mobo isn't usable anymore.

So what ever you do, don't shutdown boot it yourself until you are either in OS or see screen asking for login. Or some cases (OC'd etc) see screen which asks to reset settings to factory defaults.
