Posted October 26, 2014 They don't make water blocks for that card AFAIK so there is no point in getting a reference PCB
Posted October 26, 2014 Author I was actually wondering about a backplate. I don't completely like the look of the connectors poking out the back of the card, so I wanted to maybe cover them and maybe give more support to my card and to make it look nicer. Posted October 26, 2014 Author All XFX DD cards are reference PCB. After a quick search, it looks like there aren't many 270 backplates. Would a 270x backplate work as well, or do you think not? Posted October 26, 2014 Author Get one for a 7870. Would the EK 7870 Full Cover Backplate work? It says on the product page it isn't standalone, does that mean it most likely wouldn't work by it self?
 I think it means that it will only work in conjunction with an EK water block "Rawr XD"
 Posted October 26, 2014 Is there a good website that has stand alone backplates that you know of? Personally no, I don't worry about backplates too much, but there's likely other people on the forum that know better about this kind of thing then I do.
