Non Z overclocking?

Motherboards don't fail for no reason but whether the reason is due to oc'ing or not isn't exactly crystal clear. I have yet to see a cpu die other than from being tossed across the room. 

I haven't had any issue with oc'ing G3258's on H81 and B85 boards. 

 

I guess we will have to agree to disagree, I don't honestly see your viewpoint on how it isn't exactly crystal clear; seems like a willful way to purposely ignore said results if they were available and concluded as such.

 

Maybe perhaps you haven't had any issue, but again, now there are variables involved. Like how long you have actually been using the setup for, is it daily usage like it was your own computer or are you just running benchmarks, what voltages are you running at, how high are the overclocks, how much money did you spend on these H81 or B85 boards  (were they all $40-50 motherboards?), are the motherboards you have been using as cheap as the motherboards the OP is considering and you are recommending he use, etc. etc.
