Must be a machintosh format. boot in to hackintosh and look at the disc utility says about it

acording to the mac forums if its a HFS partions it should just mount but it looks like the partion is damaged :S.

 

I'm out of ideas hmm

looks like the Partition table is toast, if Gparted can't see it then i think you are a bit up the creek. short of actually plugging it directly into a mac (not a hackintosh) I don't think i can add any more to this.
