oneplus and their stupid publicity attempts. the invites, the contests, and now some countdown. why don't they just sell the phones instead of making customers have to deal with this crap.

They save on marketing then. Or it's a scam. Perhaps both.

Phone is awesome, but they could of done a lot better in terms of marketing etc.

I got a invite of the forum, went on the website and bought one. Had it for a few weeks now and dont regret a single thing. Yes the company may do things stupid, but the phone is pretty amazing. Between the full 1080 screen and 2 day battery its a great phone. I use the phone a lot during the day for video music games etc and it just lasts. So if you can get your hands on one its great. The reason why the price is really low is because they dont market their product, your basically paying for parts, labor and a bit of profit.

It is a flagship killer. The problem is that it never got into the fight. 

All it just needs is a mass advertisement. What's sad is that nobody really knows except by word of mouth, so that's why my friends don't know of it, but it's still better than any iPhone they've bought.

Oh it's a hell of a lot better than an iPhone. The screen is bigger yet still manageable, the processor is faster, and has more RAM. Not to mention more customizability.
