Posted October 20, 2014 Hey guys! I'm a newbie around these parts I'm from South Africa and would probably end up spending around R15k (on the rig alone, but the cheaper the better) on the PC (thats about $US 1365). I was wondering if i could get some advice on building a decent PC to play LoL, I guess for me portability would be stunning. My main aim is gaming, but I'd most probably only be running one monitor for all of this. I'd also be using this PC for work (so things like e-mail and server maintenance but that would probably not affect the build much). Now, peripheral wise I'm not gonna budget much for, but I am looking for ideas as to what would be nice and portable (for LANs and the like), I'd like a gaming grade monitor that has 144 Hz refresh rate, and a recommendation on keyboard and headphones, I've got a mouse thats perfect for now. Thanks in advance

Posted October 20, 2014 so here is one Mid-High range build for yah You can save a bunch of money on the ssd. A Crucial ssd would work great aswell. This is what im saving for, i think its the sweet spot. Not to overkill and not to bad. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/gG3Byc
 Posted October 21, 2014 I used the only South African online merchant I know of for this build - www.wootware.co.za. It should give you a good idea of pricing and availability. 80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
