Looking for a cheap new pannel, any suggestions?

Proton_density

Pretty self-discriptive. I'll put my specs bellow at the time of my build I was maxing out my budget so I had to use an old acer x203w that I've had for ages. It's a 1050p 20' monitor and I'm definitely ready for an upgrade. My budget is 160$. I'm looking for an IPS monitor with as much screen size as possible, It's main uses will be gaming, videos as well as school work (Excel, Word, Etc.). For games I'll be playing shooters (I'm aware of the increased latency with IPS but I'm far from a pro anyhow and from what I've heard the colors are worth in on an IPS?) as well as some RPGs.

Also I was just wondering if the transition from 1050 to 1080 will be noticeable at all?

I don't think the transition from 1050 to 1080 will be huge. It's only 30 pixels. I don't notice a huge difference between a 1200 and 1080 panel, because the size is close (amount of inches).

As an individual who has moved up from a 1440x900p TN monitor to a 1080p IPS monitor, there is a significant difference.
