Ram

Go to solution Solved by TheKDub,

Yes.

If doing heavy editing and rendering I would suggest 16GB, but if its light stuff then 8GB is just fine.

As for gaming, 8GB is a perfect amount.

Yes.

It's just that editing can be done faster if you have 16, 32 or 64GB of ram.

But you can still edit with 8GB perfectly fine.

Yes it's certainly possible. Although editing likes more RAM, it's still certainly possible with 8GB, and is plenty for gaming.

For editting 8GB is fine, more would be better but ohwell... For gaming 8GB is currently all you should need unless specifically doing unrealistic tests (I use 8GB and can have Skyrim with 48 mods, 32 Tabs of google chrome, Skype, unzipping some programs with 7zip, Minecraft, 43 tabs of firefox, fraps and still only use ~7.3GB of RAM) to me those gamers with sub 1k budgets getting 16GB of ram  is like a non-techie/nongamer getting an i7 extreme w/ h110 for watching things on youtube.
