Very nice have you built it yet?

No, but I will probably start construction this weekend. All the parts made out of MDF will be cut and glued together, will post some pictures as soon as possible.

Edit: Forgot to take any pictures :(

Very cool, subbed.

I watch Neo7CNC stuff all the time, I really want to build a CNC one day.

I have watched some of his videos too! Should you build a CNC one day I would recommend making a design that require as little machining as possible. Using a lot of extrusions is also recommended its a bit pricey, but easy to work with. The plan is to replace the current tower with extrusions and two aluminium plates, to lower the weight and increase its strength. When the project is done I will probably upload all the drawings available for a couple of bucks or for free (depends on how much work I spend on instructions and the end result).

Soo... It been 3 months. Am I done? Nope. I have finished what had to be finished and I have actually tested the machine, but I am still not satisfied I cheaped out on the cables and casing for the electronics which proved to be a bad idea. So I am working on replacing the cables with shielded stuff and placing all of the electronics in an old server case. DdKnWEn.jpg
