Okay so I took my GPU out of my PC and sold it.

Now after plugging everything back in without the GPU my PC boots, but then after 6 or so seconds restarts and this loop continues.

I've plugged the display into the motherboard (cause what else can you plug it into without a GPU) and now this issue is happening.

However, even if I plug the HDMI cable out of my motherboard I still get the restarting issue.

Not sure what to do now.

Any advice?

For what it's worth there is no display on my monitor either.

Try getting your GPU out and start it up. I suspect it's a power issue. Your GPU might be using more power than you have from your PSU

EDIT: I still suspect it is a power issue, but I'm not sure

this is really helpful

Oh yeah, you're right. I read it wrong and thought he bought a different GPU to put in his setup. I also saw a GPU in his PC setup, in his signature.

+1 on this. There might be a setting in the BIOS to switch between the iGPU and a dedicated one that wasn't changed.

^^^ is leading you in the correct direction. You need to ensure that iGPU/Auto is selected as the main "slot" You also have to make sure that the driver for the iGPU is installed as well. I would advise you use the VGA connector until you install all drivers needed then you can switch to the HDMI.
