I lag when i live stream

Go to solution Solved by yannickverc,

ok so i will upgrade to a fx-8350 but will i be able to cool it with a hyper 212 evo with 2 120mm fans?

I did a quick google search and this is a quote I found on a trusted website:

"I'm running an overclocked 8320 at 4.5ghz with a 212 evo and it never really gets hotter than 56C under prime95. I was going to push it harder but my socket temps were approaching 70C so I had to stop. I would say that the 212 evo is very effective at cooling AMD's FX lineup."

So I guess it's a good cooler

I try to live stream but when i do i get fps lag idk what part i should uprade first can come one plz help me? Alos it seems to make the stream lag but not sure for sure.

3 questions:

1) What bitrate doe you use?

2) Does that CPU have hyperthreads?

3) Do you stream online or offline games?

1) Not sure

2) no

3) online

Well, For online games you can't put your bitrate so high with only 6 upload. (I'm thinking you can get 2000 bitrate?)

But that CPU is the big problem. Streaming with a non hyperthreaded CPU us a pain in the ass (I try to do it myself and it s*cks)

If you have an Nvidia GPU you can use shadowplay to stream, that really helps a lot. (Is way better than any streaming software out there)

Use Shadowplay on your GPU. Look in GeForce Experience as I don't currently use a NVIDIA GPU.

Depends on what you use for livestreaming. what software do you use?

I don't think you're in a position to help if you just asked if a fx4130 has "hyperthreads"......

Upgrade your cpu. What motherboard do you have because if you don't have a nice one then a 8350 will cause your power phases to overheat. So if you have a lower end one get a fx6350.

ok it was set to default witch was 1000

With 6 upload you can easily go to 2000 is you have a CPU with 8 threads.

Irrelevant what you've owned so far. The information to educate yourself is all over the internet.

Well, I'll excuse myself if I have offended you with that question. But if I can be honest, I'm free to ask here whatever I want. (without breaking rules, ofc)
