i planning to upgrade my rig gpu from that OLD HD 5570 To GTX 760/GTX 970

The problem is GTX 970 Here is almost 450 $ And GTX 760 Is 270 $

my budget only 300 $ what should i pick

Go with 760

Or

Save Money and Go with 970

760 performs better than 750ti

 

If you're not in a hurry, save money for 970! It's a lot better card. 970 is equal, or better than 780, and because of it's big OC potential, you can OC it to match 980 at stock!

The 760 will be better just i said the 750ti because its cheap plays games at good settings and you can save from that and get something better down the road.

Save up for the 970 as it will have all of the upcoming features that the 760 won't. I personally feel that you will be disapointed if you go with the 760.

Unless there's some game that the 970 can play that the 760 can't, get the 760. Yes the 970 has way more horsepower, but that's only relevant if you actually use it. There's no point in having extra wasted headroom when you're playing games. Heck I'm almost regretting the R9 270 I bought to replace my HD 5770 because the only games I ever play are CS:GO, Dota 2, and Starcraft 2 and my 5770 handled those games fine (my monitor is from 2004 and is a 5:4 1280x1024 resolution, so even max settings on these games isn't that demanding)

If you don't mind with medium graphics, 760/770 is enough for 1080p. If you want better graphics for your games and want the card to last for more time, save money for the 970.
